North Dakota Assisitive Techonology, Financial Aid & Disability Programs
North Dakota is one of the largest states in North America. To live up to its big reputation, the state has designed several programs to help persons with disabilities in a huge way.
- Paralyzed Veterans of America
The North Central Chapter of Paralyzed Veterans of America serves residents in South Dakota, North Dakota, Southwest Minnesota, and portions of Montana and Wyoming. They advocate for research, education, benefits, sports programs and accessibility. - Assistive Technology
The North Dakota Interagency Program for Assistive Technology works to help people with disabilities obtain the equipment necessary for work, school and home. The program offers equipment exchange, training and information and assistance. - Alternative Financial Loan Program
Loans are available to all North Dakota residents through the state's Interagency Program for Assistive Technology. The amount of a loan ranging from $500 to $50,000 and can be sued for vehicle modifications, mobility items and environmental control devices. - DBTAC Rocky Mountain ADA Center
Provides services for Colorado, Utah, Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota and South Dakota. They provide resources for education, employment and transportation.
