Montana Assisitive Techonology, Financial Aid & Disability Programs
Montana wants to live up to its name of Big Sky Country by offering programs for persons with disabilities where the sky is the limit.
- Disability Services
Through the Montana Department of Health and Human Services the disability division provides programs for persons with disabilities on career training, adaptive equipment, independent living and counseling. - Accessible Transportation
Transportation for persons with disabilities is available in the form of passenger trains, planes, bus and vans. The Small Urban and Rural Transit Center also provides accessible transportation. - MonTech
Montana's resource center for Assistive Technology provides information, evaluations, training and other AT related supports. - MonTech Funding
The Montana Assistive Technology Program offers loan assistance through Community Bank Missoula. All residents are eligible for the program and it can be used for adaptive equipment, including vehicle modifications. They also provide a search service to find a funding source. - DBTAC Rocky Mountain ADA Center
Provides services for Colorado, Utah, Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota and South Dakota.
