Works with members of the community and businesses to improve access for persons with disabilities through technology assistance and education. - Aloha Special Technology Access Center
Promotes assistive technology and sponsors a 12-episode television program that discusses the challenges persons with disability face. - Hawaii Transit
Directory of public transportation available to Hawaii residents listed by county. - Honolulu Bus
Offers a Handi-Van paratransit curb-to-curb service. Riders can purchase a disability card or pay through Medicaid for the service. - Beach Access
All terrain wheelchairs are available seven days a week at no charge through the Department of Parks and Recreation. - Tips for Traveling
The Disability and Communication Access Board, a division of Department of Health, list of tips for travelers with disabilities. Tips include information about parking, visiting local parks and beaches, and business accessibility.
