Georgia Assisitive Techonology, Financial Aid & Disability Programs

The Peachtree Roads of Georgia are loaded with southern charm for drivers with disabilities. Resources are available for mobility assistance, technology equipment and peer support.

  • disABILITY Link
    A center for rights and resources. This service believes people with disabilities have the right to be independent, make decisions for themselves, have access to their community and to achieve goals in life like any other individual.
  • Georgia Advocacy Office
    Located in Decatur, Ga. the Advocacy Office offers information and referrals relating to disability issues, a resource database for self-advocacy, education and training in disability rights, and individual case advocacy.
  • Georgia Voices that Count
    Developed and led by people with disabilities, VTC is a disability rights advocacy training and support project for people with disabilities. Designed for Georgians with an interest, commitment to disability rights advocacy, VTC is meant for those who have not previously received formal advocacy training.
  • Georgia Peer Support Project
    Trains people with disabilities to serve as peer supporters offering encouragement and guidance to others who are disabled.
  • Southeast ADA Center
    The Americans with Disability Act Center serves the southeast region of the United States by providing information and resources for transportation, employment and technology assistance.
  • Georgia Project for Assistive Technology
    Supports local school systems to provide assistive technology equipment for students.
  • Credit-Able
    Georgia's alternative financing program to help residents purchase assistive technology equipment. Purchases include a wide range of equipment including recreational equipment and vehicle modifications.
